PCS is proud to announce that 2008 Virsa Mela will be held at Kentwood High School. The purpose of this annual function is to encourage and direct Punjabi youth for academic excellence, good morale and amiable character building. This is the time when PCS select youth from Punjabi community and awards them for their overall achievement in education, Punjabi knowledge, sports, arts and more. Not only the parents of these children are proud but the entire Punjabi community is honoring their triumph. Well, done, keep it up. Entry is free and all community members are invited to join. This function include Bhangra performances, educational and humorous skits, motivational speeches, Punjabi food, open dance floor and AWARDS for all the participants.

Timing is 12.00am to 6.00pm on May 31st,2008 The chief guest of Punjabi Youth Festival 2008 is Commandant of ITBP, he was first person to reach Mt. Everest from north through China. He is quite renowned in mountaineering world and has authored many books.
